Air Force markings

Cyprus Air force Roundel & fin flash 1969-

The Ethniki Froura, Diikissi Aeroporias (Cyprus National Guard, Air Force Command) was formed in 1963 as the Aeroporiki Diikissi Kyprou ADK (Cyprus Air Command) and renamed in 1974.

According to Cochrane & Elliott [c2e98], the only marking is the national flag as fin flash. However, pictures of aircrafts show the national flag as fin flash but also show a Greek blue-white-blue roundel.

The blue shade is lighter than Greek current roundel.
